Reading and watching news about the economy is so darn depressing don't ya think? Makes me kind of relieved at this point that I'm not graduating this semester (I know that's the wording of a former college slacker). But think about it. Imagine just graduating from college, degree in hand and excited to hit the work force. All of a sudden the economy decides to back hand you in the face and make you do something you haven't dedicated 4 (or 5+) years studying.
I personally can't handle the idea of throwing years of all nighters and diligent study under the tracks. I would have to compete with people laid off who ahem, have plenty of experience. A year internship would serve no purpose at this point.
So what am I doing as I await one more year until graduation? I'm building a business. This blog IS about Business Swagger after all. We entrepreneurs must unite and seize our destiny. Carpe Diem (Seize the Day) was a popular phrase where I come from.
For those of you reading this and worrying about your careers/livelihood, this is the place for you. In fact you can join me and build your own business. Why not? We can't rely on the government at this point nor our employers. Build some additional income to at least create some sort of cushion for you and your family.
If there's anything I've learned in the business world it's this: "Don't put all your eggs in one basket."

Before I started with GDI, I had no idea so much time was immersed in blogging, digging, making Youtube vids, Adsense, Paypal you name it. The fact is, I give props to all of you people who have been in this for years.
I consider myself a rookie, but one of those intelligent highly motivated rookies willing to throw aside classes to build up my traffic (maybe not far, but you get the point). Believe me people I'm loving this new lifestyle I'm immersing myself into and I'd love to get more pointers in this.

I've never really tried blogging because I thought it was weird portraying my thoughts on the internet. Wait scratch that I used to Xanga. Anyone still use that thing? Anyway I'm sitting here at 11 pm in an empty building studying for my test tomorrow. Here come the energy drinks and flaming hot cheetos.
